In this site i explained how to create Meta tags for blogspot (blogger).
Meta tags are the tags which describe your site and tell the search engines what your site having (all the details of your site).
Meta tags allow search engines to index your website more accurately.
Here is an example,
When i typed share market technical in Google search engine
‘This site is very useful for learning technical’s in the share market’ is the Meta tags description which is added to my site.
In this we have to add two Meta tags in the template.
1) Meta description, which explains your site.
2) Meta keywords, which tells about your site keywords.
Four steps are there to add Meta tags to the blogger (blog spot)
1. Sign into your blogger.
In this blogger go to dashboard > click layout button.
2. Click on edit HTML tab.
To add below code
DESCRIPTION HERE: Write your blog description.
KEYWORDS HERE: Write the keywords of your blog.
AUTHOR NAME: Write the author name.
3. Add the above code just below this line.
4. Save template.
If you want to check whether you added the mega tags successfully or not using with Meta tags analyzer tool.
For this Meta tags analyzer tool just type ‘meta tag analyzer’ in the Google and it shows so many sites. In that you check whether you have added the tags correctly or not.
NOTE:
Don’t add keywords in the description.
Don’t repeat the keywords more than three times.
